Yay! It's Monday and the start of a new series on the blog! I don't know about y'all, but I actually like Mondays for the most part. Maybe it's because I'm not a grown up with a job that I have to go back to on Monday. I don't know...
Anyway...let me tell you a little bit about this series we're going to be diving into this week and next.
First, I'm going to be putting up a post every day this week. Yep, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will all be post-days this week and next. I didn't want this series to take me a month to get through, so I decided to just post every weekday in order for it to go quicker and smoother, hopefully!
(As a little side-note, Thomas and Becca are getting married on Saturday! So...if for some reason you check my blog on Friday and there's not a post up, don't worry, it'll go up before the day's out! And the same goes for next Monday.)
Here's the layout for the series: (I don't believe in keeping people in suspense!)
Tuesday, Sept.11~Part 1:Zeal for God
Wednesday, Sept. 12~Part 2:Waiting-What It Doesn't Accomplish
Thursday, Sept. 13~Part 3:Guarding Our Hearts
Friday, Sept. 14~Part 4: Boys...
Monday, Sept. 17~Part 5:So...What If I Never Get Married?
Tuesday, Sept. 18~Part 6:What Am I Looking For?
Wednesday, Sept. 19~Part 7:What Is He Looking For?
Thursday, Sept. 20~Part 8:Proverbs 18:22
Friday, Sept. 21~Summing It All Up
There you have it!! Are you excited? I am!! It's going to be fun, and we're going to all learn a lot, hopefully. I have been learning a lot just by writing rough drafts.
Also, if you're single or married, 14 or 25, with or without kids, you'll learn something from this. Even though the purpose of this blog is to encourage young single women, and even though this series is written more specifically for young (or older) single women, you will learn something from this.
I want this to be a dialogue, not just a monologue. So comment and let me know your thoughts and if you have questions about something I've said, just ask and I'll discuss them in either the next day's post or in a separate post. Or if you would feel more comfortable doing so, email me!

Introducing Caroline!
Today I get to introduce you to another blogger, who is a real-life best friend. I see her [almost] every Sunday at our church, and we hang out sometimes and get coffee and laugh a lot. :) Caroline blogs over at Everybody Behave Naturally. Go check out her blog, by clicking on her button on my sidebar! Off we go!
| Caroline and, one of our best friends, Zach! |
What is your full name?
Caroline Gant
Why do you blog?
I really don’t know. It’s an interesting creative outlet. I saw this movie once called, “The Perfect Man” with Hilary Duff. Duff’s character was a blogger, but she used her blog more for diary purposes, where as I like to entertain and encourage people.
What color are your eyes?
BLUE.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Well, it would actually be three songs, if that’s OK. ☺
No idea- Big Time Rush
Cover Girl- Big Time Rush
Came To My Rescue- Hillsong
If you could only have one verse out of the Bible to read every day for the rest of your life, which verse would you choose?
Romans 8:28- it seems to be my life lately.
What is your blog title and why did you choose that name?
My mother and I were having a movie day and watching both the long and short versions of Pride and Prejudice. I had had my blog for about a year or two at that point and wanted to revamp it. So I decided that the best way would be to use a funny quote from Pride and Prejudice. So, “Everybody Behave Naturally” struck me funny, and of course it is said by the crazy mother. And it’s a good quote to live by. I think it good that people act as they’re natural selves and not as someone else. Thus you wouldn’t have to worry about trying to impress the world!
Would you rather spend a day on the beach with good friends or sit on your bed/couch/chair and read a good book?
If I’m with my friends and we are laughing, then everything is happy in the world. ☺
Thanks, sweet Caroline! Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday!
Well, maybe we'll do some more interviewing at some point, and if you have a blog and are interested in filling out this interview, just shoot me an email. (P.S. Mom, you should do this! :)
Sooooo....on Monday, I'm going to be starting a new series on the blog entitled: Preparing for Someday. It's going to be mainly for single women, but if you're already married, you will probably benefit from it, too. It'll be a lot of fun and hopefully we'll all learn a lot from it. I am already learning, just from writing rough drafts!
Have a fabulous weekend, friends!! See you on Monday!

Introducing Megan!
Today I'm going to do something a little out of the ordinary. I'm going to introduce you to one of my lovely blogger friends. Megan blogs over at Mackey Madness and she is a gem. She loves Jesus, loves her husband and is expecting a baby girl!! So excited for her.
You can click on her button on my sidebar any day of the week and go check out her blog. :) You'll love it.
So without further adieu...
What is your full name?
Megan
Why do you blog?
I love having a way to remember the little and big moments in our life and I love this community of friends that blogging has created for me. It is completely unreal, but so true that blog friends can become real life best friends.
What color are your eyes?
Green.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Overcome by Jeremy Camp - describes the amazing-ness of our Savior and I could sing it forever.
If you could only have one verse out of the Bible to read every day for the rest of your life, which verse would you choose?
James 4:8 “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” It’s simple and describes the way to get close to God clearly and easily.
What is your blog title and why did you choose that name?
Mackey Madness - I liked the alliteration. : )
Would you rather spend a day on the beach with good friends or sit on your bed/couch/chair and read a good book?
Definitely sit on the couch and read a book! I am not a beach person! Shocking. I like the beach in the fall, when it’s almost too chilly to go out. It’s so much more comfortable then. Haha.
Yay! Thanks, Meg. Looking forward to reading more of your blog and getting to know you better. And can't wait to see that girl of yours!!
Well, that's all for today, folks. But come back on Friday to meet another great blog friend of mine who is also a real-life best friend! :)
(and I'll be telling you about the post series I'll be starting on Monday!!)
Have a happy Wednesday, friends!
